Copy Right InfringementWhile wandering the inside world of R.O.H.A.N there came a guild by the name of "FourHorsemen" and a second by the name of "4Horsemen". Usually this wouldn't be a big deal to those within game except for the fact that there is another guild, and posted web site trademarked with the name. This Trade marked Site and Guild leader isn't thrilled with the fact that her reputation and hard earned work is being thrown away and destroyed without her permission. Her guild is being used and the trademark stolen by the leader of FourHorsemen within R.O.H.A.N. When the GM was spoken to about this infrigement we're told not so nicely to "f-Off, we'll do whatever we want and you can't do anything about it".
So for those of you reading this and or a part of the FourHorsemen guild know this, you are being considered for a law suit. We advise the leader to either add one of the members currently playing into the guild and to pass leadership to them to avoid the consequences, or to disban and rename the guild. We have spoken to multiple Gm's and they are aware that the other site, though many might not have known about it, does in fact exsist. Our characters names and the dates that we have been playing or included within the site are also posted.
This might not seem like a major issue to most, but to those of us that have worked and been working for the past 3 years on the reputation of the guild, it is. How would you like to have your work of 3 years thrown away or copied and ruined because someone couldn't care less about having permission to use the trademarked title?
